Supervisory Fiscal Specialist
This position is located in the New Jersey Division, Newark, NJ. The incumbent will perform the following duties:
Plans, manages, and coordinates a wide range of complex financial disbursement activities. Processes intra-governmental payment and collection (IPAC) transactions for consolidated bills. Collects, analyzes, and validates complex cost data. Supervises and directs activities of a fiscal staff performing work at the GS-11 level or below. Reviews weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports of obligations and expenditures. GS-12:
Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 Federal grade level performing the following duties:
supervising and directing a subordinate financial staff in invoice and voucher processing, funds control and data entry; conducting research, identifying, and analyzing trends in the use of funds control; and providing guidance to program managers on budgetary interpretation and translating program goals and objectives. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
