FINANCIAL ANALYST

As a Financial Analyst, you will:
Conduct and document complex and detailed Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) financial management reviews including analyses of financial statements and reports, trend analysis, and assessment of financial risk for the overall entity as well as Public Housing programs. Develop appropriate long range solutions to complex financial issues and problems identified by multiple sources and provide expert advice and guidance on complex financial issues. Monitor and evaluate management or performance plan goals, including input and feedback into the development and analysis of diagnostic data. Prepare and presents professional financial assessment reports, and has the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Ensuring financial accountability and compliance with federal rules, regulations, laws and policies; AND Analyzing financial data, drawing conclusions, and recommending solutions pertaining to financial management; AND Conducting financial management reviews.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
