Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement
Overview:
The primary role of Senior Managers of Continuous Improvement (CI) is to lead a team of CI experts responsible for delivering key initiatives consistent with United's Route Map, partnering with cross functional leadership among multiple locations and divisions. Senior Managers of CI proactively benchmark and implement best practices across the system. Provide leadership, mentoring and training to all levels and functions on the use and practice of the CI methodologies and tools. Focus on performance and constantly strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce defects. Act as thought partners with business leadership to select, scope and prioritize CI initiatives.

2 years of experience in full-time continuous improvement role
Experience in large scale and diverse process improvement implementations

5 years of LSS experience

years of work experience using statistical analysis

years of supervisory experience

years of airline business experience

years of diverse CI portfolio implementation
Strong GB and BB certification, i.e. 60% or higher

years GB and BB training experience
