The Prep Cook produces required cold prep items in kitchen to forecasted business. He/she reviews production sheets, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and par sheets in order to prepare for the day's events. The Prep Cook also produces all cold food presentations for buffets, banquets and a la carte. This position finishes desserts for a la carte, buffets, and banquets. He/she prepares all food to the highest quality and appearance in accordance with approved recipes. When needed, this position helps out on pantry, hot line, and/or omelet station.

Education &
Experience:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent
Experience with food preparation and handling.
Must have good understanding of the English Language.
Ability to compute basic arithmetic and to comprehend and follow recipes with the appropriate cooking techniques.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
