Position
Summary:
Performs Human Resources related duties and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, recruitment/on-boarding, payroll, benefits and worker's compensation.
Holds meetings with the Operations Managers and/or General Managers to review any performance issues with the current workforce.
Assists with the development of programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce for the organization.
Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Maintains personnel files in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Keeps employee records up-to-date.
Prepares and submits new hire paperwork.
Assists in the hiring process by reviewing applications, performing telephone and in-person interviews.
Travels on the warehouse floor several times daily to familiarize and interact with all staff members.
Conducts new employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of the company's policies, procedures, and benefit plans.
Assists Human Resources department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures.
Maintains location's organization chart.
Participates in Human Resources staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars for development and growth as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Required
Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or two or more years as a full-time Human Resources Assistant or equivalent in an HR Department involving recruitment, minor employee relations issues, and some payroll experience.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Attention to detail in composing, typing emails and warnings, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to multi-task.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
