Newark, NJ (EWR) REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS NEEDED:
? Minimum 12 months airline experience preferred ? Ramp & Bagroom experience preferred ? Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures ? Knowledge of airline computer systems ? Ability to perform under pressure ? Ability to work in teams and lead ramp team ? Able to travel for training SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
o Responsible for coordinating Weight and Balance documentation with Load Control o Maintain daily trip files and station traffic report as well as all aircraft o handling related statistical data o Supervision of ramp functions o Operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to departure, which also includes the coordination of all operational activities during irregularities o Coordination of all phases of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, fueling, crew and passenger boarding/de-boarding o Loading/unloading, including checking on correct buildup/preparation of cargo - destined for bulk loading or in unit load devices o Ensure all cargo or luggage is properly tied down or secured in the compartments o Close coordination with gate, steering of boarding and de-boarding related passenger service processes o Secure the proper handling of Bagscan o Provide daily monitoring report to the Manager about handling performance, document delays and reasons o Responsible for LBI (Left Behind Baggage Index) control o Ensure implementation of new procedures, processes or product features and enhancements o Plan for and ensure that irregularities are always handled in accordance with customer, economic and legal considerations o Report any flight handling irregularities o Ensure that all aspects of the ground handling operation are in accordance at all times with Safety, Security and Legal regulations o Performance and proper documentation of checks performed under the station operations surveillance concept Required Skills PREVIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE At least 18yrs old, with a High School Diploma or G.

English proficient, other languages may be required Terminal and Airport operations knowledge and experience preferred Retail and/or Hospitality work experience required Able to stand 3-4 at a time Reading & comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies & procedures Valid US work authorization Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation Flexible schedule & availability Background Check, Fingerprinting required Drug Screen required prior to the day of hire Required Experience.
