The Director, Strategic Pricing and Deal Advisory promotes achievement of business objectives through development of pricing strategies and pricing proposals that maximize profitability. The position is responsible for managing, coordinating and performing all activities related to price quoting, customer profitability analysis and promoting the use of standard pricing, estimating tools, deal shaping and standard processes. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
Deal Pricing Prepare timely and accurate price proposals and customer profitability analysis, as well as build and evaluate alternative pricing scenarios. Perform current state financial analysis of pricing actions and impact across business units, products, client relationship and identifies pricing-related performance improvement opportunities. Coordinate and work closely with the Product Managers to understand their pricing strategies and provide pricing and costing mentorship as needed. Work with multiple departments and streamline current quoting and pricing processes. P&L and Cost Modeling Create product and deal P&L modeling and evaluate and maintain standard costing metrics. handle the full deal lifecycle operation, including collaboration with Sales, Solutions, Product Management, and Business Unit leads to determine appropriate strategic pricing. Conduct customer profitability analyses and evaluate alternative pricing scenarios to deliver insights that enable Business Unit leads to make value-based pricing decisions for new sales opportunities. Lead cross-functional viability studies to evaluate if new product offerings present favorable business opportunities. Establish and implement standard pricing and proposals for new products. Challenge key model inputs to ensure all aspects are considered, costs fully understood and assumptions have been adequately vetted. Perform market and competitive peer analysis to supplement business cases for business-level pricing strategy, channel-specific pricing practices and product-level pricing. Partner with Legal on the creation, distribution, and management of contracts. Present financial components and recommendations to senior management Preferred Background & Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data analysis and modeling results into practical recommendations. Process orientated with the ability to understand the big picture while paying attention to details. Business case modeling experience a big plus. Advance and high-level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI experience is a plus Highly collaborative individual who can influence multiple internal partners to drive results in a matrixed environment Ability to balance attention to detail and accuracy with tight deadlines on critically meaningful work
Experience:
BA/BS in Finance, Economics or Accounting. 7
years of work experience in finance and or pricing related analytical roles with proven results Experience working in a SaaS environment
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
