ABOUT THIS ROLEThe Communications Specialist will serve as a master dot-connector, project manager, jack-of-all-trades and general support resource across an agile organization comprising public relations, corporate and internal communications and public affairs.
This role requires superior organizational skills and attention to detail; keen judgment; a team-building, outgoing approach; a sense of humor; and a passion and talent for communications.

You take a results- and service-oriented approach; ensuring projects are delivered to business owners on time, on budget, and on strategy.
As a Communications Specialist, you will Support Head of Global Corporate Affairs and GCA leadership team.
Create, schedule and organize team events and meetings; support and drive team engagement.
Help manage and coordinate team editorial calendar.
Develop milestones and schedules for projects, ensuring project team and stakeholder alignment; manage to, and deliver on, agreed-upon deadlines.
Understand and identify key interdependencies and critical path tasks, as well as anticipate potential issues.
Provide ongoing project status updates, including preparation of meeting materials and follow-up meeting notes and next steps for team members.
Track media hits.
Compile and manage regularly distributed PR briefings.
Perform news monitoring and reporter research.
Develop repeatable methodologies and processes; focus on continual improvement and streamlining of processes.
Support vendor relationships (including ongoing project communications as well as purchase order and invoice management).
Manage team subscriptions.
Complete ad-hoc projects.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
