About the role:

A Therapy Awareness Manager (TAM) is responsible for accelerating the growth of key products through the development and execution of demand generating initiatives focused on prospective and targeted HCP audiences.
This position is responsible for the market development and adoption of Interventional Oncology (IO) therapies in the region/geography assigned.
The TAM will design and execute a therapy awareness plan that is in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Boston Scientific IO division.
This candidate will work closely with the Territory Managers and Regional Sales Managers to execute marketing tactics to enhance referral patterns and increase the number of patients treated with BSC IO therapies.
The TAM will be responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets or exceeds designated objectives.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner closely with Territory Managers and Regional Manager to identify key accounts, health care professionals and business growth opportunity to increase referring physician and patient awareness of disease states and treatment options.
  • Recommend best practices to current BSC Interventional Oncology customers that enable improved efficiency and patient care.
  • Leverage deep data insights to understand patient referral pathways and identify key referral networks to target.
    Increase patient access to care and create new referral pathways by developing and enhancing these relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, trade show participation and problem resolution.
  • Conduct in-office education meetings including delivering relevant clinical literature to referral physicians.
  • Develop and implement targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local team to enhance physician partnerships and execute educational opportunities.
  • Address local market issues that may limit patient access to trained physicians who offer BSC IO therapies.
    Ensure patients have a way to access trained physicians.
  • Cultivate and maintain influential relationships with key customers, administration and referring physicians.
    Gain knowledge on unique markets dynamics and identify key decision makers.
  • Obtain input and provide feedback to internal Marketing on requirements and improvement opportunities from external customers to increase access to care and enhance referral pathways.
  • Build comprehensive marketing plans with timelines, budgets, and key deliverables aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of BSC field personnel to prioritize market development programs by balancing benefit, cost, time, risk and brand.
  • Manage field travel to maximize time and resources to generate growth opportunities and increase patient access to care.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree required
  • 5
    years successful sales and/or marketing experience required
  • Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with sales and marketing databases is preferred
  • Excels in fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Highly strategic with strong analytical skills and problem solving
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
  • Build/create immediate rapport and maintain strong relationships
