HNTB Corporation is looking to hire a Sr. Electrical Engineer in their Parsippany, NJ, or Newark, NJ office. The right candidate will have the ability to perform the following duties and
Responsibilities:
Design and inspection of electrical power & control systems and communications systems for infrastructure and transportation projects. These projects offer exposure to a variety of electrical technologies as well as a balance between office and field work.
Job Summary
Perform design calculations.Quantity estimates.Detailing.Check calculations and drawings.Perform specific short term design applications.Organize scheduling of specific tasks and assignments.
Essential Responsibility
BS degree in Electrical Engineering
5
years of electrical engineering experience in transportation / infrastructure
Communication Systems design experience preferred (Fiber Optic & Copper Communication Systems)
5
years of Project Management and Execution
10 years of experience is preferred
The ability to manage and mentor a group of junior engineers
