Your Team & RoleAs a Lead, QA Security Testing Engineer in the Identity Governance and Administration team, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve Prudential s Identity Management platform.
You will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong technical insight and QA testing disciplines, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver well tested robust solutions that bring about business impact and support the goals.
Partner with Operations Support / Engineering teams to triage / perform root cause analysis studies to address reported defects to resolve complex technical/process problems.
Enhance test cases to identify defects in during future regression/QA testing cycles.
Reviews technical design documents, needs, and specifications to gain required understanding to drive test plan and test case development that are detailed, effective, and well-organized.
Manages staffing to prioritize, organize, and execute plan testing activities.
Find, record, carefully document, and track bugs to resolution.
Identify skill requirements for QA testers when undertaking testing of new technologies, work with management to upskill staff.
Tracking metrics for quality control, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring5
years overall experience including 2 or more years in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
A hands-on experience in the white box, black box, and security testing is a plus point.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools including Xray Test Management.
Experience with testing SailPoint Identity IQ ( IIQ ) V8.
2 and higher including deep understanding of Workflow / Forms / Application Onboarding / API & PluginsBachelor of Computer Science or experience in identity security related fieldSecurity identity architectures and frameworks, privileged access managementAbility to mentor others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization.
Knowledge of identity security concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the development of testing strategies/scenarios.
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.
