Newark, NJ (Hybrid) We are seeking a Strategic Business Consultant for our client in Newark, NJ.
The Strategic Consultant would be responsible for working with internal clients at all levels of the organization, from the C-suite to the front line, helping to understand and develop a customer strategy that is realistic, all-inclusive, and impactful across all Utility lines of business.
This role requires a combination of technical and business capabilities, people and management skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Understand and solve real business problemsPresent business case and strategy to the C-SuiteConduct assessments providing organizations a successful business mapIdentify and address root causes of operational and strategic issues in organizational and governance structures.
Lead process improvement initiativesFacilitate Current State and Future State documentationPerform Gap AnalysisCreate desired Future State vision Required skillsets and
Experience:
Strategy and Execution - Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to inform strategic alignment, develop roadmaps, and define prioritizationOperational Transformation - Leverage data-based strategies to define organizational goals, identify performance gaps, advise on closing gaps, predict future demand, and lead transformation initiativesOrganizational Design - Ensure effective alignment of skills and responsibilities, spans and layers, governance, and communication across an organizationOrganizational Change Management skillsSAP knowledge is very helpfulData Analysis - the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive strategic decision-makingBusiness ModelingExperience with common project management tools such as MS Project or Trello, and MS office suite especially ExcelProficient in presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Google SlidesProficiency in mapping tools like Microsoft Visio or Lucid Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
