Newark, NJOur Client based in New Jersey and South America involved in Building materials and mining / industrial raw materials is seeking a seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join Clients team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits and compliance.
They will collaborate with the CEO and the executives to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations.
The candidate will possess a strong background in finance, Treasury, Accounting and management.
Responsibilities Lead the Finance, Treasury and Accounting functions.
Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, controlling, forecasting, and reporting all accounting and finance related activities.
Preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, Managment reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
Knowledge and experience in Fund raising / Capital raising and, Equity structure, Preparing / Analytical understanding of financial statements and cash flow metrics, including EBITDA, is required.
Beyond the standard financial tools, experience in contribution margin analysis, breakeven analysis, product NPV and IRR analysis, working capital analysis, and revenue bridge analysis.
Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
Qualifications Strong finance-based analytical skills 6 - 9 years' of Finance / Accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting and finance required.
CPA or MBA preferred.
Bilingual - English and Spanish - You must be bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to speak, write and read in both languages.
