Gateway Group One Armed Security Officers are responsible for meeting the day-to-day needs of customers and clients.
Respond courteously and respectfully to resolve issues, while following policies and procedures set forth by the client and Gateway Group One.
Individuals must be able to interface with the public in a professionally and courteous manner.
Document situations as they occur.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors/vendors/clients in a professional demeanor.
Answer phones, monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
Conduct tours of inside and or outside perimeters of client site.
Log in visitors/vendors/contractors.
Maintain a daily log of all activities for post.
Perform escorts when required.
Access control.
Foot patrol.
Post inspections.
Qualifications:
A valid Armed Guard SORA license.
A valid license to carry a handgun.
Superior customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proper telephone etiquette.
Moderate to advanced computer skills.
A Valid Driver's License in good standing, e.
g.
, (No Moving Violations, Suspensions or Accidents over the last 3-5 years.
Able to work different shifts (day/evening/nights/overnights), and at times weekends and holidays may be required.
Ability to work with individuals in a variety of situations.
Successfully work independently and within a team environment.
F/T P/T- opportunities available.
Active or Retired Law Enforcement experience required.
High School Diploma/GED required.
MUST BE ACTIVE OR RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
