We have a growing client looking for a hands on Purchasing professional looking to grow with the right company:
They are looking for strong negotiators that have direct vendor contact expertise that may have experience with their product lines.
Flexible Packaging - custom laminated roll stock, custom barrier pouches, resealable polyethylene bags and zipper profiles.
Coated Products - pressure sensitive envelopes, pressure sensitive labels - edp, thermal, laser and prime, also adhesive coating - fullgum and pattern, hot melt and aqueous
General Packaging - packaging systems and accessories, identification products, and hazardous material shippers
The ideal Buyer will have Manufacturing environment experience and have strong negotiating skills with vendors.

The right Buyer candidate should:

Have experience in the general acquisition of of raw materials and finished goods.
Flexible packaging and/or Pressure Sensitive adhesives experience is a plus.
Know how to coordinate deliveries and material specifications with Cross functional teams to include Production, Sales teams and vendors.
Be comfortable communicating input from Production and Sales about product quality and performance.
Be proactive with your ability to share market changes and price increases to Sales, Accounting, and Production.
Have strong vendor negotiation skills.
Be comfortable offering assistance to various departments concerning material purchases.
Have experience reviewing and requisitioning manufacturing orders.
Purchasing systems background is a plus. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
