Scope of Work
- We are looking for a Senior Mobile Web Developer to join our mobile team.
- The right candidate should have excellent communication skills, knowledge of UX / UI design and integration principles, and advanced programming skills.
- This role is a highly technical role, devoted primarily to the presentation and integration layer development of an existing mobile web implementation.
- The base application need to be build and ported to iOS and Android devices.
Responsibilities
- Assist on all aspects of Mobile projects with an emphasis on intuitive, custom UI controls and interfaces, using responsive design that provides a great user experience.
- Provide continuous improvement through creative solutions to difficult, mobile-centric problems like synchronization, asynchronous APIs, and leveraging offline device capabilities.
- Interpret UI requirements and mockups into functional, high-performance Mobile and Web applications.
- Collaborate in design and development of customer data integration software.
- Collaborate in design and development of tools and reusable frameworks.
- Participate in all phases of our software development life cycle to convert concepts and specifications into released mobile.
- Create and maintain all necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a high school diploma / GED and 4 years of IT experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working knowledge of web application technologies such as Responsive Web Design, JSP, Java EE, HTML, HTML 5, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), mobile web (iOS, Android), Native App Development.
- Experience working in a collaborative style with cross functional teams and senior managers.
- Mobile Web Development Expertise required.
- Hosted application on Google or Apple stores required.
- REST/ SOAP interface knowledge required.
- Demonstrable knowledge of XML/XSLT/JSON and best practices for use of RESTful (WebServices) APIs in a mobile web context required.
- Strong understanding of UX / UI design patterns required.
- Full-stack JS experience, including object-oriented javascript development required.
- Expert Javascript (jQuery / jQuery Mobile / Angular), HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
- Responsive web layouts for mobile required.
- Excellent coding, data structure, development skills required.
- An understanding of web performance analysis and best practices for building performance web sites required.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills required.
- Understanding of Device Notification features is desirable.
- Java, J2EE development desired.
- Knowledge of IBM Worklight or Cordova PhoneGap desired.
- Image editors (Adobe Photoshop etc.) desired.
- Securing and Encrypting app data desired.
- Eclipse based IDE tools desired.
- Blackberry Mobile development experience desired.
